Dubai second largest city of United Arab Emirates and the busiest traffic has been challenging everyday life. One of the fastest and the easiest transport in Dubai is Metro which is rapid transit system serving Dubai and the surrounding area. Dubai metro time start at 5 am to 12:00 am, from Monday to Thursday and it starts at 5 am to 2:15 am on Friday and Saturday while on Sunday Dubai metro time starts at 8 am to 1:15 am.

The Dubai Metro consists of two lines one is the Red Line and another is the Green Line. The Red Line runs from Dubai city named Rashidiya to Jebel Ali and the Green Line runs from Etisalat till Creek.

Dubai Metro Fares

The fare for the Dubai Metro depends on the number of zones you travel through. The fares range from AED 2 – AED 8.50.

For a single journey, the fare is calculated based on the number of zones you travel through. Let’s say, if you travel from Rashidiya to Burjuman, the fare would be AED 5.

If you are using a Nol card, which is available in any Glossary, you will have benefit from discounted fares. The fares range from AED 1.80 to AED 7.50.
